A lovely time together, hmm, the dates are hazy, but we hired the car in Paris and drove all the way down France, through Monaco and over the border into Italy, then on through Milan to visit Andy and Amanda in Andy's uncle's place in the Apennine Mountains.

The only time we ever argued, as far as I remember, was on this trip when I was concerned about the amount you were smoking - but it all blew over within half an hour.

I remember our amusement when, just over the border into Italy I joked that it was a shame we didn't have any 'blow'... and you confessed that you had had some, but had been so worried about the border crossing into Italy that you threw it in the bushes before we reached Italy - there wasn't even a marker for the border!!!
